About This Role
Are you a detail-loving spreadsheet wizard with a knack for process perfection? Do you get a thrill from helping payroll run smoothly and accurately every week? We’re looking for a Payroll Time Capture Specialist to join our awesome internal team at Diverse Staffing’s Norcross office!
This isn’t just a behind-the-scenes role — you’ll be at the heart of making sure everything ticks on time. From auditing timecards to coordinating with managers, you'll ensure every hour worked is every dollar earned!
What You’ll Be Doing
Gathering time data from branches and timeclocks to support weekly payroll
Auditing, correcting, and processing Pre-Bill reports
Identifying inactive assignments and closing them properly
Merging duplicate candidate records and working with our support teams
Assisting with payroll compliance audits (think direct deposits, I-9s, and more)
Partnering with internal teams to solve time-related mysteries and maintain payroll perfection
Managing garnishment and child support processing with confidentiality and care
What You Bring to the Table
High School diploma/GED (associate’s degree in HR or Accounting? Even better!)
2+ years of experience in a detail-focused, data-driven role
Microsoft Excel expertise and 10-key mastery
Top-notch communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying accurate and on time
Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive data
Bonus points for experience in payroll, compliance, or HR-related roles
